About the owners

Amanda Gorecki, ARNP, owner and developer of Pure MD, grew up in the northwestern united states near the ocean, mountains and endless trees. The beautiful backdrop of her childhood fostered a lifelong love of the outdoors and a passion for healthy living.

Mrs. Gorecki began her career in healthcare. She has a bachelor of science in nursing from Seattle Pacific University and a masters in nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She worked with her husband, Dr. John Gorecki, in the department of neurosurgery at Duke University and it was in this setting that she dealt first hand with the devastating effects of illness. This eye-opening experience left her with a strong desire to find a way to educate people on how to make better lifestyle choices and live healthier, happier, more fulfilling lives. That desire served as the founding inspiration for healing waters, a spa, aesthetic, plastic surgery and wellness center.

Healing waters were established in 2002 in Wichita, ks by Mrs. Gorecki and her husband, dr. John Gorecki, and now has multiple locations. Healing waters offer medical aesthetic services, traditional spa treatments, and skin care, with a driving philosophy to make a difference in the lives of our clients guided by our core transformational principals—restore, calm, correct, balance. During her years developing healing waters, Mrs. Gorecki has served as a consultant and educator to physicians, nurses, and raving fans nationwide.

In 2007, Mrs. Gorecki first introduced Pure MD to her healing waters clients after hearing them loud and clear—they wanted skincare that produced results. During the research process, she found that the best results were achieved by combining the wonder of nature with the latest scientific advancement in skin care.

Mrs. Gorecki continues to dedicate her time to the development and expansion of both healing waters and Pure MD. They are her expressions of a passion to incite positive transformational change in people’s lives, helping them appreciate their internal beauty and wellness, which she hopes will become a passion of yours too!
